The factory headers hit the frame, went with a great company out of the States appropriately named "Patriot Headers" But the passenger side still rubs the frame. Im checking into modifying the passenger header, but they're ceramic coated.
Decided to go with a "Flow" performance 3" intake, larger performance injectors, and instead of splicing the factory wiring harness, I went with the Holley Terminator Max Pro, management system, Im able to tune the engine from inside the cab
fabricated engine mounts, motor's in, time to dry fit components , and check for hood clearance ...yup, you guessed it, alternator hits the hood, barely, but it rubs.
$500 solution, note...no oil filter. now I have to get an oil filter relocation kit...another $100, you know the old saying about "opening a can of worms" This is the start!
its in, but tighter than OJ's glove. First engine mount bracket fabricated, but oil pan hits dif. and factory headers hit the frame, like my comment in this album, trouble to come!
First dry fit into engine bay with factory oil pan, lets see if it clears the dif. This is where things start to get difficult.
